VENDOR PROFILE / Marina lives in that twilight place where time seems suspended, translating the world through Gothic Victorian motifs, death symbolism and the haunting beauty of Memento Mori. A modern-day sentimentalist with a taste for the strange, she reimagines the mourning traditions of the 19th century through a contemporary lens, creating adornments that feel equal parts relic, talisman and wearable work of art. Welcome back Arcane Angel to the Halifax Oddities & Curiosities Show! Marina also creates a collection of unique pieces for every show she attends, and her dark Memento Mori collections have become perennial favourites — often disappearing quickly and leaving collectors asking for more. Using reproduction carved moulds from the 19th century alongside metalwork, crystal, alchemical imagery and mystical symbolism, she bridges the macabre and the beautiful with pieces that feel weighted with history and narrative. Look for one-of-a-kind Memento Mori necklaces, Circus Macabre bracelets, earrings, hair combs, metal cases, alchemy boxes, witch bracelets and crystal-etched spell lockets — Gothic and mystical adornment with the occasional flourish of Victorian retro-futurism. Bone art day for the Halifax Oddities & Curiosities Show !!! We’ll have 11 decorated deer jaws, 4 decorated bison jaws, 4 decorated muskrat skulls, and 3 pairs of decorated muskrat jaw earrings! They still have to be sealed and some of the deer jaws teeth have to be painted but the hardest part is done ✨

Not pictured are some of the completed jaws and the jaws decorated with real dried pressed ferns…. They are so gorgeous and I’ll be showing them off next!

I can’t believe there are only 12 days left!!!
