We're Back!! After a wonderful first edition in 2017, the Luthiers For A Cause are back for another wonderful project.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In 2022, four of the world’s most distinguished guitar builders (Steve Grimes, Jay Lichty, Ben Wilborn, and Peter Robson) are coming together to showcase their unique building approaches and to make a lasting difference in the lives of medically fragile children helped by The Ukulele Kids Club.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each luthier will build a different size guitar out of master grade Maple and Sitka Spruce, to create a family of one-of-a-kind guitars. These fine guitars will be available for purchase in November 2022 only on Dream Guitars, as a collection, or individually.

All proceeds from the sale will go to supporting the UKC mission of transforming lives through music, music therapy, and the ukulele. Also featuring TKL cases, Rodgers Tuning Machines, Craig Lavin inlays & Stew Mac.

Finished this set today for an instrument being made by luthier Alan Perlman in California. It is a copy of a 1978 set we made for a Rubio guitar. I would have only been 10 years old so I didn't have much input on the original :)

A set of ukulele tuners with koa buttons we recently sent to a customer in Japan.

This set of Hauser style tuners has blackened engraving and is highlighted with red Swarovski crystals. The buttons are Jet Black recon. It has black string rollers with bearing bushes.

Jerome Reproduction Model. The gears have new cover-discs which would be nice to use on any our our sets, including steel string tuners. This particular set was made for luthier Jeffrey R Elliott in Portland Oregon.

Tuners we made for a Frondose Hofner Guitar. The button shafts are extended to fit the large headstock shape.
