All of our available queens from Olivarez Honey Bees Inc. in California have strong hygienic qualities, are good producers and are of gentle temperament. These queens ship in California mini cages.

Certified Saskatraz hybrid queens are produced in Northern California (Orland area) using Saskatraz breeder queens constructed in Saskatchewan, Canada by Meadow Ridge Enterprises LTD (Breeder, Albert J. Robertson). Saskatraz stock is Patented and Trademarked to help maintain the authenticity of the stock.

Meet EQA's new owner, Mark Kalisz.

Mark grew up on a rural property in Canton, Ontario. He spent much of his career working in agriculture, farming small grains and eventually managing a large grain elevator operation where he had the pleasure of working directly with farmers on a daily basis. Mark re-discovered a love for bees in 2014 and is thrilled to be able to work with Canadian beekeepers to import healthy, high quality queens for use in their apiaries. Mark lives in Guelph, ON with his wife Amy and two young daughters.

Welcome to the new home of Early Queen Arrivals. As many of you likely know, Peter Mewett (long-time Ontario beekeeper and owner of EQA) retired in fall 2021. My name is Mark Kalisz, and I am the new owner of EQA. I am really pleased to continue the great work that Peter started, and Peter and I will work to ensure a smooth transition for all current and past EQA customers.
