CITIZENRY (PREOCCUPATIONS/ WOMEN - TORONTO)
is the solo work of Canadian drummer
Michael Wallace. Infused with teen-vandal spray paint energy and
delivered as a bombastic experimental package, raw and uninhabited energy. The project combines late 80s gothy cyberpunk with experimental 90s electro. Based in Toronto ON, CITIZENRY spans influences and
dynamics that range from punchy dance tracks reminiscent of electro pioneers The Chemical Brothers
and Prodigy, to a more modern approach influenced by the likes of Holy F**k and Sextile. This work is a departure from Wallace's usual role behind the kit, where he provides the backbone for Preoccupations, Women and various other projects.
BADTIME
badtime is a dark wave and synth punk duo created by artists Kevin Schuit (Aruba) and loana Ciora (Romania). Formed in 2020 as a visual art collaboration, the project quickly evolved into a fully formed universe where sound and image are treated as one language.
Now living in Antwerp, Belgium, they continue to
expand their world with intention, always just left of the beaten path. badtime's music is sinister, hypnotic, and undeniably danceable.
CUTE
born out of the metallic, industrial backdrop of hamilton, ontario and inspired by records deemed unlistenable by peers, cute creates a sonic landscape that is at once crushing, immediate, and meditative.
CLAUDIA
Claudia is one of the solo monikers of local Prince of the Hammy Underground, Drew Taylor. Claudia's scrappy earworms cut inside of ya with ease, with the singular artistic touch that only DT can deliver.
MUSTARD JUICE
Rooted in sample culture and collage techniques, this project treats sound as raw material rather than genre. Drawing from audio nightmares, discarded media, and unpredictable sources, the work exists without
boundaries-reshaping fragments into dense, unstable compositions that blur music, noise, and memory. Nothing is fixed; everything is fair game
