Custom set of nails for the woman that is Chimaera

For the premiere party of airing on I wanted to make a runway look that just screamed CHIMAERA as soon as I walked in the door.
This outfit pays homage to everything that makes Chimaera who she is. The corset minidress pays homage to my TEDx Talk look, showing my academic side and the style of how I fight for my community through this unique lens. The Bows represent my confidence in who I am, particularly paying homage to being the model of the winner of Sew Fierce S2 in the gorgeous finale runway (that was the first time I ever used my natural body in drag unpadded). And lastly, the cracked gold leaf represents the brokenness, traumas, scars, and experiences that I have overcome in my life. Drag has truly been a healing love to my inner child and who I knew I had the potential to become, turning everything that shaped me into something beautiful. This entire look head to toe is who Chimaera is, finding the beauty in the pain, and letting authenticity shine. It’s fashion, it’s my story, it’s who I am, and most importantly it’s serving CUNTY AF! 🥰
