Good morning! Welcome to Tip Tuesday! Have you ever made a card and then noticed that telltale shiny adhesive peeking out from an embellishment or maybe a cardstock mat? A terrible feeling if you are a card maker.
(a) Well there is an adhesive eraser you can use to remove both liquid or tape runner adhesive.
(b) With liquid glue I let it dry before lightly going over the area where I don’t want adhesive to show.
(c) With tape runner there is no waiting but also lightly rub over the area you want to remove adhesive residue.
(d) You can purchase these erasers off Amazon, some of your local craft stores might carry it or even your dollar store. The one in the picture is from Dollar Tree.
(e) You can use the eraser straight from the package or cut in four like I do.
(f)This eraser needs to breathe. I put a few into a plastic zip bag once and they went as hard as a rock. I was going to throw them out but thought I would try to soften them by putting them in very hot almost boiling water. I left them for about 15 minutes or so and, guess what, they soften up!
Every stampers basic kit needs an adhesive eraser.
