June 1 all my life in a 20 yard box , a 40 yard box and a tandem truck will be on its way to another location out of hamilton. After the death of my partner on April 4 2024 the decision was made to move out. Before I leave I will be offering all furniture for free. I have everything except beds. I will post pictures of a few of the thousand items for free.

A year has gone by and finally there is light at the end of the tunnel of a business getting open. April 1 2024 is our final open date. There are no more hurdles to cross. Business license in hand by March 1 and I will be doing the inventory and pricing to be ready for operation.

I have decided to go thru all the hoops. Hire a lawyer, deal with the city of hamilton and get this store open. It's been an expensive storage nightmare since Covid 19 hit and it never ends. I need to liquidate and retire. Shooting for the grand opening on May 1st. Everything must go.

With Christmas coming I am at a crossroads yet again. I am trying so hard and as they say take two steps forward and 10 steps back. I will continue to sell on kijiji with a lot of stuff to sell. I just wish I could open the doors and let everyone in. City licensing is a challenge when there are engineer and design costs just for a change of use and zoning issue for a second hand store.

I will be having that garage sale on Friday Sat and Sunday this weekend. I can't say what I have as I have everything. All must go. The stuff is strangling me. I hope alot of people come out and buy stuff. 10 am to 5pm every day. 😄

I have been working on kijiji Ads, posting stuff around fb marketplace. The city of hamilton is giving me hassles with getting a license. Before I can apply for said license I have to change the zoning from commercial/redevelopment to retail use. I do not own the building, I just rent. I have to pay for a building permit, an engineer and then the license. Total cost minimum 3 grand. I will continue to post on kijiji ads and I will be having a personal garage sale not connected to the store. This will be a 3 day event from July 1 to the 3. I will sell all my personal items from inside and outside the store. The city has informed me residential can have 2 garage sales a yr. Really🙄. Stay tuned for event details under my personal name. And not here. I am hoping to get the store open this summer. 🙏 please stay tuned.

Yes I know the holidays are upon us. I have family from out of province coming for the last 2 weeks of December. I will have to postpone the December opening. I will keep everyone informed. Family first.🎄😁
