The Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR is the road tire I use on my Cervélo Soloist, and it handles itself surprisingly well when I take it onto gravel, which is easy to do when you live, work, and ride close to the rail trail.

The Grand Prix 5000 and 5000 S TR are still the benchmark for all-season road riding around here. If you like reduced rolling resistance (riding faster), vibration-dampening compounds (staying comfortable), and increased puncture protection (fewer flats), the GP 5000 could become your new best friend — if it isn’t already.

All of Continental’s high-end tires, including the GP 5000 lineup, are handmade in Germany, and there’s no shortage of sizing options. The clincher version is available in 23mm, 25mm, 28mm, 30mm, and 32mm, while the tubeless-ready model trades the 23mm option for a wider 35mm size.

Whether you’re chasing speed on smooth pavement, exploring mixed-surface routes, or just trying to avoid spring pothole season, there’s probably a GP 5000 setup that fits your riding style.

Swing by the shop, and we can geek out over tire options and find the perfect match for your bike and the kind of riding you do most.

The 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 1 is the first Cannondale that we brought into the shop since becoming an official dealer. Since its arrival, it’s been getting a lot of attention.

The Topstone is built around a lightweight, full-carbon frameset, the Topstone Carbon 1 features 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 and 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, which delivers added comfort and compliance on even the roughest gravel routes.

It’s equipped with 𝗦𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗥 𝗔𝗫𝗦 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 for smooth, precise performance, and rolls on 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 40|44 𝗮𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 with 𝗗𝗧 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗯𝘀 and 𝗪𝗧𝗕 𝗩𝘂𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 45𝗰 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀—a durable, fast-rolling setup ready for big adventures.

Finished in a striking 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 paint scheme that you need to see in person, the Topstone Carbon 1 looks every bit as capable as it rides: bold, versatile, and built to go anywhere.

Maxxis Aspen vs Aspen ST — two super fast XC MTB tires with two slightly different tread patterns.

Aspen ST is an ultra-low-profile race tire designed primarily for short track XC use. Sometimes referred to as the “Fastpen,” this tire is sure to give any racer an edge in dry conditions.

Aspen is a premier XC race tires with slight more aggressive tread than the ST, providing a bit more grip in dry to mixed conditions. A low center tread height allows the Aspen to roll quickly but substantial – for XC – side k***s provide cornering traction.

Both are ideal for front or back and come in 29x2.25 and 29x2.40 sizes.
Come by the shop and we can give you a close-up walkthrough of the difference in tread patterns and which will work best for your riding needs.

We have lots of tire options for you!
