The best comment we ever got was "print someone who cares." ๐Ÿงก

So we built Atlas, a pocket computer with a face, made from parts off the STEM wall in our shop.

21,000 lines of open code, all controlled with a single dial. A little thing that carries a whole world.

You can grab one from us, or we open-sourced the whole thing: model files, code, and a primer to program or vibe-code your own.

All free at installatlas.com.

The thing that cares was never the box. It's that somebody built it to be opened.

05/24/2026

There's a giant in this box.

Atlas is an open-source handheld packed with 24 modes: 12 of them games, and a friendly little face that brings the whole thing to life.

Small enough to fit in a pocket, deep enough to keep a curious kid (or a curious adult) busy for a long time.

It's built to be explored. Every line of the firmware is open and yours to change, so it grows with whoever's holding it. Play the games today, learn to modify and code your own modes tomorrow.

Flashing a new build takes about ten seconds, right from a web browser.

A real first project for a budding maker, and a genuinely fun tinker-toy for an experienced one.

Designed, coded, and 3D printed in Hamilton, Ontario.

$129.99 at printandplay.ca

Or build your own from scratch at installatlas.com.
