What a lovely day yesterday at Ancaster + Burlington + Oakville Handmade Markets in Oakville! Beautiful venue, lovely people and amazing fellow vendors!

Thank you Kelly Mitchell for all of your support and for taking care of my booth while I took care of all the organizer things. You are amazing! ❤️

My next confirmed show is STUFFED! on Dec 12th at Crossroads on North Service Rd. in Burlington.

But I just may pop up somewhere before that! Stay tuned! 💕

Well, this is a first! I’m bringing Jackie Fenton to the Ancaster + Burlington + Oakville Handmade Markets this Saturday in Oakville.

Am I nervous? Maybe a bit. But more than that, I’m really really excited. I may be biased, but I absolutely love our shows and ever since I took my knitting to my first market, I’ve wanted to be part of the ABAZ vendor crew, but never quite felt ready. You know sometimes you just have to say 'yes' and figure it out later.

My dear friend came to me about donating my hand-knit dish/spa cloths to this amazing initiative organized by in .

They are launching these wonderful CAP Care Bags filled with comfort, warmth and extra care for someone experiencing cancer.

With the help of my 70 + 10 or so year old Mum (she won’t tell her age😅) I said sure we can do it! When my sister (Cynthia) heard what we were doing she immediately jumped on board.
And that basket you see is the end result.

So fun, so gratifying and such a great feeling knowing our cloths will be helping comfort people going through this life-changing disease.

Had to take a break from my de-tangling ‘project’ so I could just knit!

Needed something mindless, so this basic neck warmer was just the thing to match a two-toned double brim hat I had on hand.

I have caked many hanks and sometimes they don’t always work out perfectly. But this one takes the…well you know. I’m posting to stop myself from crying. 😭
I have no clue what went wrong! As soon as I tried to fix it, it just got worse!

It won’t stop me though! Just slow me down.
Working on a using malabrigo Rios Aniversario. Such a great colourway! I’ll post when it’s done! 😁

Not the fanciest photos…I couldn’t quite capture the actual pink in the first one and no filter seemed to help.
But I loved making these beauty baby sweaters.
The pink one was for grand-baby #2 and the blue was a custom order. 💕
As a knitter, it’s hard to make items for babies and kids. Will it fit? Will it be worn? Will I see it on them? How soon will they grow out of it?
It’s a dilemma! But that won’t stop me! 😂Baby knits are the absolute cutest! 🥰

Makers…tell me, how do you feel about making baby items?
