My dear friend came to me about donating my hand-knit dish/spa cloths to this amazing initiative organized by in .

They are launching these wonderful CAP Care Bags filled with comfort, warmth and extra care for someone experiencing cancer.

With the help of my 70 + 10 or so year old Mum (she won’t tell her age😅) I said sure we can do it! When my sister (Cynthia) heard what we were doing she immediately jumped on board.
And that basket you see is the end result.

So fun, so gratifying and such a great feeling knowing our cloths will be helping comfort people going through this life-changing disease.

I have caked many hanks and sometimes they don’t always work out perfectly. But this one takes the…well you know. I’m posting to stop myself from crying. 😭
I have no clue what went wrong! As soon as I tried to fix it, it just got worse!

It won’t stop me though! Just slow me down.

Not the fanciest photos…I couldn’t quite capture the actual pink in the first one and no filter seemed to help.
But I loved making these beauty baby sweaters.
The pink one was for grand-baby #2 and the blue was a custom order. 💕
As a knitter, it’s hard to make items for babies and kids. Will it fit? Will it be worn? Will I see it on them? How soon will they grow out of it?
It’s a dilemma! But that won’t stop me! 😂Baby knits are the absolute cutest! 🥰

I wasn’t sure what this beautiful hand-dyed Ochre colourway would work with, but I sure like it with denim blue!
This is one of my favourite knits and the fit is so on point! The double brim is warm and cozy and the high top is definitely on trend.

Had the absolute BEST day this past Saturday at the Prelude Market @ HPO hosted by . Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth to chat, look around or make a purchase. Your support and appreciation for handmade means the world! My sister, Tannis, makes the socks and mitts which were a huge hit. A big thank you from her out in Winnipeg as well!
Thanks Andreanna for creating this wonderful event. We hope to be back again next year!
