Concession BIA Concession BIA offers everything from shopping to services to great food! Concession Street celebrated it's 100th anniversary as a commercial district in 2007.

Our street is like a village in a city... with everything to offer, including shopping , great food, entertainment, beauty services, professional services, and much more... plus we host one of the most extensive healthcare communities in Hamilton with the Juravinski Hospital in the heart of the street.

ATTENTION MAKERS!
We're just a week away from the last Sidewalk Sounds & Night Market of the year and we want you to be there - Friday, September 18th from 6-9pm!

You're welcome to set up a table (no tents) along the Concession Street Sidewalk FREE of charge. Spaces are first-come, first-served (no registration required), and we ask that you don't block any walkways or storefront entryways. All family-friendly products are welcome, along with food products with health department pre-approval.

Set-up starts at 5pm!

We'll have live music at seven stages along the street, plus fun zone at Urban Zoo (546 Concession St.) and an open mic at Hairway 2 Heaven (566 Concession St.)

If you're able, attendees can bring a non-perishable donation for Mountain Kidz Klub. Donations can be dropped off at the CAP parking lot (555 Concession St.).

"It’s the first week of September and that means the fall events are rolling in.

As the leaves turn on the trees, so does Hamilton’s event calendar. For the festival inclined, the new Groundworks festival and Concession Street Corn Fest take the forefront.

Concession Street | Sept 5. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This festival has everything: vendors, live music, a kid zone and even a corn husking contest. At 11 a.m., country singer-songwriter Shaylyn will perform at 555 Concession. Then at 1:30 p.m., Big John and the Nite Trippers take over the same spot.

For animal lovers, there’ll be an urban zoo where they can see parrot tricks and a handful of cuddly pets. As for the cornhusking contest, it starts every hour from 11 a.m., with prizes for first and second place. Pretty sweet deal for a place with free admission."
