I made a couple of gates for JT and Kate’s raised bed garden out of 2x3’s and Barnboard using the old buggy spring as the pattern for the top of the front gate and welded a wheel barrow wheel to it for the top of the back gate. Old barn hinges painted black to go with the newer handles they already had. Should be deer proof.

Finally used up most of the parts from Barbs’ grandfathers (and Uncle Buds) old horse drawn hay mower. Original mower Wheels are cast iron and hard to weld so I substituted an old iron wheel and had used the seat on the other piece with the wheel…. It was missing the tool box lid so I added a piece from the cutting bar sharpener tool that attached to the wheel to sharpen the blades… dangling from a chain. Unique way to preserve these old farm machines as yard art
