Over the years, I have been inspired by all the talented IG and YouTube DIY creators I follow. Their amazing projects have motivated me to try my own projects; especially the cool wooden pieces and IKEA hacks.
For some time now, I have wanted to turn this IKEA bucher block kitchen cart into a beautiful, functional piece. I have had the piece for about 15 years. It has been great in my studio, and for craft shows. However, IÂ wanted to close up the sides to create some hidden storage without the use of baskets.
The project came together well. I sanded, stained, and sealed the wooden top, added cross-stitched pegboard panels on three sides, and trimmed the sides with moulding.
Check out my stories and highlights for more pics. Let me know what you think about the finished piece. Is this something you would try? What would you do differently?
