Meet the Artisans Behind the Houston Artisan Cooperative.
💫This week, we’re excited to introduce Megan of Gracefully Made
📍 Based in: Bulkley Valley, BC
🖐️ Specialty: Clay Artist
✨ About the Artist:

Hi! 👋 I'm Megan, the face behind Gracefully Made. After spending most of my life visiting family in the Bulkley Valley, I made the move to call it home just over 4 years ago. 
For 10 years I taught in Christian education and even started a maker's market with my middle school students. So, when I switched roles and made the move to stay home with my kids, I knew I needed a new creative outlet. After dabbling in a few things, I discovered how much I enjoyed working with clay. You can really design anything you imagine and the possibilities are endless. I also love how light it is, which is ideal for earrings. 
I decided to join a family member at the Serendipity Christmas market in 2025 in Houston, which lead to pursuing a spot in the Houston Artisan Cooperative so I could keep selling and designing year around. I've recently attempted some 3D designs and look forward to continue trying new things in the future!

Created by brothers Kasen (9) and Kaius (6), these fun and creative paint kits are made with a little help from their mom. Their kits are designed to inspire creativity, spark imagination, and make art fun for kids of all ages!

Have you ever dreamed of selling your handmade creations in a local shop?

The Houston Made Artisan Cooperative is a busy little gem in Houston, BC - open 6 days a week, and we're looking to welcome new vendors to our creative community!

We're currently seeking:
🧁 Baking & pastries
🍞 Sourdough bread
🧁 Cupcakes
🍫 Chocolates & fudge
🍓 Freeze-dried treats
🫖 Tea blends
🫐 Haskap juices
(all food products must be made in a licensed kitchen)

We're also looking for unique handmade items such as:
🎨 Garden art
🐦 Hand-painted birdhouses
👜 Fabric and vegan leather bags
🪵 Wooden toys
…and other creative, handcrafted products!
