Olivia was born 100 percent fine. Healthy but tiny.
Then she got an infection on her 7th day of life and stopped breathing.

Brain damage.

We were told that Olivia would NEVER walk. Her body was not meant to.

She said(non verbally) F You and has defy’d the Doctors.

Liv has never been able to walk independently without her AFO braces which give her support for her feet all the way to her knees.
She has used them since she was a baby and has a hard time weight bearing without them.

They are very bulking and heavy and uncomfortable but she tolerates and moves through the pain.

This year her Ortho has allowed us to get small SMOs that are just for her foot and ankle. They didn’t have a ton of hope but listened and followed helped us follow our hearts.

Liv has been working with her AMAZING EAs at school and here we are, two weeks in

She is a BEAST. She is the QUEEN. She is EVERYTHING.

Don’t ever count her out.
