***Major announcement ***
It’s been over 4 years in the making and it’s finally here!
I wrote a kids book!!
It’s called ‘Sometimes Daddy Cries’.
Sometimes Daddy Cries is told through the eyes of a boy whose father suffers from depression. He sees his dad get sad, rest and even go to the hospital, all while comparing his father's depression to a physical ailment.

Illustrations by the amazing Jessie made this stuff!

Stay tuned for more information on where to purchase the book and any events that may occur😆

Order it here: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/022883466X/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=

Also available in hardcover

"Todd's book is a timely and important book that will help countless fathers and sons broach the subject of depression. It sets the right expectations, acknowledging that living with depression is a process, and is best met with social support, love and understanding amongst one's closest families and friends. i am grateful this story has been told"-Enzo Verr, Masters Degree in Cognitive and Developmental Studies, York University

"What a beautiful book; a book in words and images. I love how it captures the experience of sadness and depression through a child's perception and how the book concludes on such a hopeful note."-Joanne Frederick, MA Registered Psychologist

“Sometimes Daddy Cries” a children’s book about family and mental health I wrote and my friend Jessie Hope Stueck is illustrating. We are self publishing it but before we do we want to pole our FB friends to see if there is any interest for something like this. Please ‘like’ if you’d support a project like this. ❤️

PLEASE SHARE 💔
On Friday MAY 5 at 10:45 please join Kye 's family and the family of Todd Rennebohm at the museum on the corner of Albert and College Avenue as we rally and draw attention to the horrible state in which our mental health services have fallen as well as impending cuts to early education, a time when children need intervention the most.
Our beloved son Kye took his life on March 20, 2017 at the age of sixteen after suffering with mental illness for three years. Kye was diagnosed with depression as well as borderline personality disorder. We spent countless hours with doctors, in hospital and treatment facilities only to be let down and sent away time after time.
Now it's too late for Kye but we promise to bring change through his story to our health care system.
My goal is for no parent to have to bury their child. No child should have to suffer in a system that is broken. No child should feel so let down that death is the best alternative.
Please clear your schedules, make a sign and March with us down Albert Street to the legislature. Let's keep Kyes memory alive and force change for those who suffer today and in the future.
Please share this post and thank you for helping me give Kye a voice 💔
