So we have our numbers confirmed for the Hobbit and thus begins our formal preorder announcement. As usual most of the limited items (ie everything except for play boosters) are in relatively low supply and we’ve already had the majority of our collector boosters pre-pre-ordered.
You might notice one or two items are an abnormally higher price(collectors, gift bundles, scenes) due to the market demand. While in the past we have remained at standard margin pricing even when it put us several hundred dollars cheaper than the next cheapest vendor online we are currently going through a process* where the more money we can raise the better we’ll weather it, especially given the lacklustre movement on Marvel Superheroes. This will be the exception for sets that are in exceedingly high demand (ie how it was with Final Fantasy when most stores sold boxes for 4 figures) and not the norm.

Our prerelease dates are Friday, August 7th at 5PM and Saturday August 8th at 3 PM and we still have a good amount of seats left for both days at this time.
