An honest Farmhouse Find!
Antique, rich wood grain, fitted construction with square head nailing.
Its original purpose would have been a “Funnel” for apples leading to an Apple Cider Press.
Its most recent function was as a conversation piece Side Table.
In this position it’s roughly 22” tall, 22” deep and 18” wide.
Sturdy & stable, sits levelled in a variety of positions - would be great for continued use as a side table OR placed with open mouth up on a Farmhouse Kitchen counter filled with potatoes & onions OR holding a large bouquet of Cottage Blooms at your entry!

Wednesday Whimsy…….I had the chance to go for a walk in the woods with my friend Janine yesterday.
As I was leaving, she wished me “safe travels”.
I shared a story with her that I’ll share with you……
A lovely reseller Cindy Little had given me one of the tail feathers from Kiwi, her parrot & business namesake.
The feather is a talisman of sorts, intended to provide you protection in your flights.

Mrs L feels very safe on the road - since receiving Kiwi’s gift, I have found even more presents in our backyard…….I am ever so appreciative of this consideration!!

SUNDAY SHARE………SOLD!

With the New Month a Furnishing Feature unFurled at Booth 904, both floors!
This Chippy Little Child’s Chair sold right away (thank you)……as did Baxter the Brass Button Bear.
I am totally imagining that they went to the same home and that Baxter now has a very special seat in a Kid’s (or Big Kid’s) Room!

WELCOME AUGUST!

It’s been a literal month that the Bratz have been with us - they came home with us on Canada Day. Burton, the handsome fluffy gentleman on the floor very quickly let us know we were okay. Tailer, his Mom on the bench, was much more timid spending most of her days in hiding spots & only venturing about during the evening.

What has been ever so endearing is how patient & persistent Burton has been with Tailer to get her to relax, trust, venture & play. He would spend his day near her, demanding belly rubs so she could see pats were okay, he would bring toys to her and make sure she was watching him play with us, and once he was finished eating he would break bread with her. The very sweetest moment was when Tailer played “ribbon” with us for the first time and Burton gave her a gentle chin rub with his head.

Looking forward to this new month and the new accomplishments it brings!

Oh - absolutely should mention that the Bratz came Animalert, a cat (and dog) rescue in London - they have been wonderful & supportive to work with and their Foster Mom Monica is a very special Lady!
