Every Craft Menagerie bar of soap is made with the same proprietary blend of oils; locally sourced tallow is the star of the show. Tallow is rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, essential minerals, & anti-oxidants which can help repair & sooth your largest organ. Supporting roles include organic coconut oil (for it’s cleansing power and big bubbles), organic sweet almond oil (for extra moisturizing), and organic castor oil (for luxurious lather). I just had to inlude a dollop of local honey (which also contributes to big bubbles). There is clay in almost all of my recipes as well which can help to absorb and remove impurities from skin like dirt & toxins. Oh! Last but not least, every loaf of soap to leave here has a bit of mulberry silk dissolved in it for super bougie glidability. I’m working on making this bar a trademark. As well as making cold process soap, I keep bees! The silk wings can stay in this bar while you use it while it is recommended to remove the dried tansy blooms. The “honeycomb” contains turmeric which can help even out skin tone and fights acne causing bacteria. There’s also a little bee pollen mixed in which is known for its antibacterial properties reducing inflammation. 🔗 in bio

Pine Tar & Cedarwood Essential Oil
Ingredients: Saponified Beef Sodium Tallowate,
Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Pinus Palustris Wood (Pine) Tar, Avena Sativa (Colloidal Oatmeal) Flour, Honey, Juniperus Virginiana (Cedarwood) Oil, Sodium Lactate, Mulberry Silk Amino Acids, Carbo Activatus (Charcoal)

Colloidal Oatmeal & Pine Tar sooth sensitive/irritated/itchy skin & help kill bacteria & fungal spores. Top that off with cedarwood essential oil which is beneficial for your skin and smells lovely too. There is also a pinch of charcoal in the middle which can help remove impurities like dirt and oil. It is recommended to remove botanical garnishes but the tiny pinecones on the top are like icing on a cake. Sweet. 🔗 in bio

Pretty in Pagan
Dark Patchouli Essential Oil
Ingredients: Saponified Beef Sodium Tallowate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Pogostemon Cablin (Dark Patchouli) Oil, Carbo Activatus (Charcoal), Mica, Black BioGlitter, Honey, Sodium Lactate, Stearic Acid, Vegetable Glycerine, Sucrose, Mulberry Silk Amino Acids.

This soap is kept quite simple! The clear embeds were also made by me but are made with a different process than cold process. The base oils for the clear soap is only coconut oil and stearic acid which are mixed with the lye solution and then a solvent of isopropyl alcohol, vegetable glycerin and a sugar solution. The black base of this bar has activated charcoal which is known for removing dirt and toxins. There is a lovely cut of selenite and a little quartz on top for cleansing your energy field while you cleanse your temple. 🔗 in Bio

​This lovely lemon bar reminds me of dessert! It includes poppy seeds for serious exfoliation. Beware if you know that to be a sensory overload for you. My father in law said that this soap is the only one that works for removing the smell from his hands after filetting fish. I’ll bet thats thanks to the cleaning power of lemon essential oil. 🔗 in bio

This fragrance oil will take you away to that quiet beach where you can bask in the sun. With sunscreen on of course! Smells just like banana boat. In the future you may find this bar scented with sandalwood essential oil for a more natural approach. There are apricot shells mixed into the “beach” which will give you a fine exfoliation (not as aggressive as the poppy seeds). My fiance loves this bar for getting his hands clean after working on the farm all day and getting covered in motor oil and various grease. There’s also goat’s milk in this recipe which helps to balance out the pH.

This herbal-based combo of essential oils is known for its uplifting and energising properties and is my personal favourite! Take a deep breath in while you are lathering up. Each layer also has spirulina which not only produces the beautiful green with the french green clay, but also has been shown to eliminate toxins from the skin and increase skin metabolism. Soap is a wash away product which would not be as effective as as a leave on product but in my opinion, every bit counts and intention is also very powerful. 🔗 in BIO 📸 by ME
