Had a hankering for wings so stopped by the old Triangle in Charlottetown. A few fiddlers started coming around there on Thursdays. 19 friends were there with a tin whistle, 3 guitars, a keyboard, 13 fiddles, and a banjo. The sound was incredible and it was just them playing amongst themselves. Pretty authentic. Great day on PEI. Unreal beaches here. Incredible properties, and the greenest grass you’ll ever see. Also potatoes. ;)

Pretty hot in right now! Met some cool on their way to the last night. Then my ski buddy Shane Reid and I went for an epic loop by and that cool road through Rawdon farmland back. I don’t know how riders in warm climates do it!

We do a little photo shoot on my tour each year, which involves my wife Shauna Ross hiding in a ditch! The construction of the switchback climb of Mackenzie Mountain is mint. It’s banked so you can really carry pace on tight turns. This is about all I can got out of my bike here. I can’t really lean in anymore because I can’t tilt my head now and it ‘feels’ like I’m in the wrong spot. What great memories of such a fun tour group this year!

It’s time to start thinking about the 9/11 Ride again! This is the 17th Annual Run that has raised $45,272.50 for American Veterans via Rolling Thunder.

Question: Do you know where Rangeley, ME is? Awesome! Cause that’s where we’re meeting up. If your a couple or a solo or a bunch of friends that keep hearing about my weekend, why not come join us?

I have blocked out a beautiful cabin resort and have emailed the past attendees to give them a chance to get their rooms. If you’re interested just email me. I only ask for $50 a bike but, obviously we’ve been spoiled by some terrific donors each year.

When the Nova Scotian crew and I head down we’ll leave that smoke behind ;)

Thousands of Americans ride their bikes to enjoy Nova Scotia’s Cabot Trail, the best place in Canada to ride a motorcycle. I want to give back to our American biker friends by raising money for a charity that they cherish. I chose Rolling Thunder Charities as the sole benefactor.

Thank you Denis and Libby for the opportunity to guide you and your friends. Denis saw that I did day tours right before Covid and was planning his guided tour of the Trail with me. Then Covid, and my tough health journey. In the end Denis never let the plans change. We did it! A beautiful day on the ’ltes Denis is a good road captain. I meet so many. Always looking in the mirror for the little goslings to make sure they were following. I never tried a trike but I am impressed. We rode well today!

A little scrub for my day tomorrow. I’m guiding a crew from Connecticut and Maine. I’ll post some pics because it’s such a unique group that it’s a first time experience for me. For the mathematicians out there, we’re 7 machines and 20 wheels! Oh, check out the sun in the background.

Hey fellow riders,

I started this website because I found I had a lot of questions when I went around the Cabot Trail the first time. I made cabottrailbiker.com and volunteered to help anyone plan their ride here. I asked for your support by buying my Original Cabot Trail Biker T. In order to make that a ‘must have’ I promised to hand deliver a $500 donation every year to a charity that American Bikers would like. I love seeing a Canadian flag waving far from home. Over the years my Annual ride to the US every September 11th attracted more and more friends. Instead of being the only Canadian, now we’re making up a good portion of the weekend. I’m posting this gofundme for all of you to read. You may have followed along with me and ‘Peds’ for my Southern trip a month ago. This is Ped’s daughter. The Peddle Family has been the largest donor to Rolling Thunder since he joined the 9/11 Ride. He is a boilermaker and raises some money for the cause from his Canadian coworkers. Last year the entire family including Chris’ father in law came to the event. The Peddle family isn’t just good to American vets, but to so many new and dearly cherished friends we’ve met from this get together.

The family is obviously overwhelmed with communication with so many and appointments and arrangements. Perhaps not reach them directly but if you know any of the Crazy Canucks family you can share your stories here. I’ve got too many!

Kevin Howell and his friends dropped by from the Valley on the way to Cape Breton. I use the word ‘friends’ loosely because they sure were hard on one another! I love seeing all the different bikes and setups!

What a week! 6 truly awesome riders that were a pleasure to hang out with. Perfect weather, except rain to get here and rain early this morning. Shout out to all my friends and family who made this tour a success - Shauna and Sherry, Clarence, Jeanette, and Greg at the The Clairestone Inn | Cape Breton Boutique Hotel, Sheila and Randy at the Keltic Quay, Jen Polson Jen and Boper for helping host and riding, Shauna Ross for doing the lions share of the work, and of course, our legendary Scotsman, John Blakeley John, Advanced Riding Guide, where sending him home means Email me to get on the ‘interested’ list for next year. I’ll email everyone on the list before opening sales in the fall.

I had too much fun to take photos! That was the best weather I’ve ever experienced on the - no wind and not too hot. Clockwise, a swim in the , playing on the switchbacks meeting up with Shauna Ross and breaking up into 3 rides - dirt for the adventure guys at sporty ride with Shauna and me and my buddy Ryan Kelly added a few miles and a ferry ride as we didn’t want the ride to end. Pizza night and laughs, and plans for today’s run CCW. Counter Clockwise is the best direction, right?
