It was an honour to present the SANDYCOVE DRUG STORE EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD 2026 during the 10th Anniversary of the Golden Balangay Awards, held in historic Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel. Celebrating this milestone in the birthplace of Confederation is profoundly fitting — a reminder of how strong foundations, unity, and shared purpose can illuminate our path forward. This year’s theme, PAROLA — The Guiding Light, beautifully captures the spirit of leadership, resilience, and hope within our community.

The hospitality and warm embrace of the Filipino Canadians in Charlottetown, along with the heartfelt welcome from Mayor Philip Brown, were truly unparalleled. Their genuine affection and care are something we will treasure and speak about for years to come.

Congratulations to the Founders, Ronnie dela Gana and family and Jovito Favila and family, for ten years of honoring Filipino excellence across Canada.
