Happy Thanksgiving, friends. I’m feeling grateful for my family, for the gardens, for the frost missing me once again, and for the light in the studio that makes these photos glow. Mostly, I’m thankful for the support and for all the people who buy my flowers and jams and let me keep doing this. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

I don’t usually enjoy the process of putting basket arrangements together, mainly because I almost never use floral foam so the mechanics of keeping everything upright, hydrated, and secure can be really tricky (sorry for the unintended life/parenting metaphor there). However, I had to put this together in a hurry, so I used some foam that I was gifted to me, and I think it worked out really well. It really feels like an autumn meadow in a basket. What do you think, friends?

Even this carousel doesn’t really show how gorgeous this gift basket is! Chock full of roses and dahlias, tea, cookies, jam, soaps, bath soak, room spray, botanical candles and delicious treats, this has got to be the nicest way to say “I’m thinking of you”.
