Who says you need a vacation when you can build one? 🌴✨
I wanted a tropical oasis, but I didn't want the cost—or the hassle—of planting everything in the ground. So I built this raised planter and tucked large potted tropical plants inside. The best part? I can bring them indoors before winter, swap plants whenever I want, and it still looks like a lush garden! 🌿

This basement space got a major upgrade with warm wood wall paneling, durable vinyl plank flooring, and a drop ceiling modification that raised the height by nearly a foot. The extra headroom made it possible to add a cozy office nook — perfect for homework, gaming, or creative projects. Practical, functional, and cool enough for a growing teen.

Tall walls can feel so empty… so I decided to give mine some character. Instead of starting from scratch, I worked what was already there and added wainscoting and trim molding to build out the design and create a custom feature wall.
Sometimes the best transformations come from enhancing what you already have. A little trim can completely change the feel of a space.

Turning 1.5 inches of unused space into something beautiful. I created a slim gallery wall using a deep Sherwin-Williams Cyberspace paint color to make the photos and decor really pop. Then I extended the kitchen into the peninsula with two custom-built shelves and integrated lighting for extra storage and a cozy glow. Small spaces can still make a big design statement.
