🦋 Giving things another life.
🦋 Trying out something a little different.
🦋 Sustainability really matters to us - very little ever goes to the landfill.
🦋 Discovering fun little treasures that turn into your favourites.
🦋 Supporting our community.

Kamloops Hospice is hiring!

Do you ever find yourself wishing you worked somewhere where your efforts are noticed, the team is positive and inclusive, and where you really make a difference?

Kamloops Hospice Association is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to help keep our hospice home clean, comfortable, sanitized and safe for patients, families, volunteers and staff.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little things, and would enjoy being part of a warm, supportive team.

This is a permanent, part-time position of approximately 12–15 hours per week.

If you’re experienced, dependable, caring and looking for work that feels meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.

Interested? Apply through Indeed or email your application to [email protected].

If this sounds like someone you know, please share this post with them! 💙

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, we pause to remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors, and recognize the families and communities who continue to carry the impacts of residential schools.

Truth and Reconciliation calls on all of us to listen, learn, remember, and make space for the stories and experiences that deserve to be heard.

As a community thrift store, we’re grateful to be part of a community where learning, connection, and compassion can help us move forward together.

Today, we remember.
Today, we listen.
Today, we honour.

Please note that Flutter Buys is closed today in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

If you are looking for a way to embrace this day right here in our community, you may wish to attend the event that's being co-hosted by Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc and the City of Kamloops between 11am - 4pm today. According to the description, it will include, "cultural programming and demonstrations, live performances, Indigenous artisans and food vendors, community resources, family activities and opportunities to learn and connect." Sounds pretty great to us!
