I love it when friends and customers bring me chocolate from their travels! This bar was gifted to me by a friend who was in Peru awhile back and was able to attend the Peruvian International Chocolate Awards. This chocolate maker did very well for many bars, so she brought one back for me. Chocolateria Pumatiy limited edition Chuncho Senorita 70% was a real treat! A thick bar, which I like, slow melt with citrus flavours at first, then a spicy kick that stuck around til the end. Lots of fudge flavour balanced the spice for me. So good! Back in 2017, Kata started making her own bonbons, working hard to perfect them. Ready to introduce them, she attended the 2018 One of a Kind show in Toronto as a vendor and sold out! She hasn’t looked back since, growing her business with her first shop and one employee to today having a team of 15 people, their own chocolate factory and shop with a plan to grow into a beloved Canadian brand.
