Happy Victoria Day weekend! And it’s Sampling Saturday!
We’re sampling 2 English favourite teas today in honour of the weekend. One is Lady Londonderry with its hints of strawberry and lemon and a good flowery, malty flavour. The other is Earl Grey tea with an unbelievable aroma and taste, scented with bergamot and made popular by the Prime Minister of England in 1830 after receiving it as a gift of gratitude.

It’s Sampling Saturday! Today we have selected bars by Sirene Chocolate in Victoria BC. Dark Milk (one of our most popular milk bars) Cha’bil (dark milk with cardamom, yes cardamom, it’s fabulous!) and my current favourite 73% dark, Alto Beni, Bolivia with a complex flavour profile. Come by for a taste!

It’s Sampling Saturday! Today we’re sampling McGuire Chocolate. Bean to bar craft chocolate made by Mark and Victoria McGuire in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick. They love their cat Hank so much they put him on the packaging for all the bars in their Hank Series! Come by for a taste of these bars and if you happen to be planning a visit to Saint Andrew’s this summer, drop in at their shop for an ice cream… or more chocolate!
