We are seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to help us this spring. If you have some time to spare, why not spend it helping us save the lives of orphaned and injured wildlife! There are a variety of tasks we need help with - hands-on working with the animals, kitchen helpers, volunteer drivers, etc.

If you are interested in attending the Meet & Greet, you must RSVP by filling out the volunteer sign-up form. Please note that this is NOT an Open House-type event. It is geared strictly for people who would like to volunteer with us this year.

On farm today, after serious frozen nights, when pipes froze and tractors refused to start, we gathered as family in this somewhat supple thaw, to wish Meryl Sheep, an old soul, a blessed good bye. We laid down travelling herbs upon her, to the bleats of her mourning companions. On farm today, we made time and respect for the meek among us.

Judy and I are getting dressed this evening in our layers of life together on farm. We are going out, in mended dress under a snow moon, to water horses down. If this ain’t the Emmys, it is most definitely the Academy Awards, down on farm.

Quaker Oaks Farm was craving some Christmas Nostalgia this year so we decided to go back to our market roots for one night only !

We will be attending this years Holiday Market at the Orillia Public Library on November 28th 2025 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm we will only be selling our olives 🎄 🫒
