And with that - it's a wrap on summer number 5! So much gratitude for all of our amazing families who return with their wonderful kids year after year, and for all the new faces we've met over the summer. Thank you to our amazing student volunteer Lenora, our student staff Colton, to our dedicated staff team including Creative Director Miss Susan, as well as Taylor (summer #3!), Emma & Gemma.
Miss Katie is planning to now run away to her cabin at Dee Lake and not speak to anyone for the foreseeable future, until her nervous system returns to its introverted baseline 🤣 Summers are a LOT of energy and human interaction and the only remedy is puzzling and reading in the forest in complete silence. Good bye!

SQUISHY MAKING IS HERE!!!!
Public drop in now includes 🫟 squishy making 🫟 along with create a friend (similar to build a bear but more of an immersive experience! We even have an in-house vet clinic!), slime bar, splatter room and monthly rotating craft (this month is dragon egg & magic wand making).
Join us this week on Saturday between 2:30 & 5:30pm to enjoy any of our awesome craft experiences. Open to *school aged* kids, no pre-booking required.

This is totally stolen content but GUYS!! (more specifically, LADIES!!!!!!).... I just discovered this GEM of a craft idea - BOOK BEDAZZLING!!!!! If there's one thing I'm obsessed with more than crafting, more than GLITTER, it's being a turbo book nerd! Who would be interested in this as a ladies night in the fall? (WITH TEA?!?!) Like I don't even care I'll just do it by myself honestly! 😍😍😍😍
(Also would prefer gals with better book taste than this sad little collection, but I'm not here to judge...I mean I obviously will, but I'll fake it.)

Another fun and busy day at the studio! This morning we learned how to make sensory potion squishies, following step by step (they turned out so good!). Then in the afternoon our creative director Miss Susan gave the kids some ideas of how to make bird houses (an idea by a kid yesterday and we even had some bird seed hiding in the back). Then our super sewer set up a choose your own adventure style plushie making workshop - kids could choose their difficulty level - draw & colour a pet using fabric markers, use hot glue and then stuff it, or go the whole way and cut out a pattern and hand sew it together.
