We are now stocking from Canada's very own Zegema Beach Records, who promote honest / passionate / inspiring music-- usually with screaming. This has been a dream of mine as long as i have worked here.

ZBR is an independent label with two branches each headed by a man named dave-- one in the states and one on Vancouver Island. It is difficult to overstate the role ZBR has played in the modern screamo scene, putting out bands like Olth, Senza, Nuvolascura, Blind Girls, and .Gif from God. If you are a fan of screamo rooted in the tradition of DIY hardcore, if you love bands like Saetia or Orchid or Pg. 99, if you have ever cried in a mosh pit, if you know what the word Skramz means, if part of you secretly agrees with the "real emo" copypasta, then ZBR will change your life. The tradition of hardcore made by sensitive bookish nerds lives on with Zegema Beach.

Record Store Day 2026 is on the way!

This year RSD Canada falls on Saturday, April 18th and we will be opening at 9am as opposed to our regular 10am. Folks tend to line up early so if you have anything specific you need to get your hands on your best bet is to arrive before we open.

We stock turntable styli for all Audio Technica turntables.

Did you know that the stylus on your turntable is like the tires on your car? It has a limited life and you should change it often for optimal performance. Typically, the Audio Technica styli are rated for a lifetime of 300 to 1000 hours of use, depending on the model.

By changing your stylus, you will minimize the wear on your records. You can also upgrade your stylus for better sound.
