Sydney + Christian 08•17•2024

Syd & Christian got to have their perfect wedding … again, apparently (we were surprised with the news that their elopement actually happened last July/23). The weather was great, the tent was ready and it was one hell of a party. So happy that everything worked out and everyone had a great time celebrating the newlyweds. Being the mother of the bride was definitely an experience that I will cherish always. I’m so happy for you both. Congrats to the Pangilinans 🤍

Taryn & Mitch had the most perfect day on the shores of Muriel Lake and I’m so happy that I got to be a part of it. There was a rockstar team of vendors and in the end, everyone and everything looked amazing.

Cheers to the happy couple and thanks Hannah for the most perfect sneak peeks đź’—

This is the first year since Ever that I’ve made myself a Xmas wreath for my door! Lol. Enjoyed the unusually balmy weather to have some bestie + crafting time and try to to remember how to teach people to make these things again since it’s been a few years. Laurie’s turned out awesome so it couldn’t have been that bad. Looking forward to our BBSS Young Traveller wreath class fundraiser next weekend.

** Note: we used extras in our wreaths. If you are coming next weekend and would like to bring anything special to add to yours (ex. berries, etc), please feel free.

Come on out & make your Christmas wreath while supporting a great cause, the BBSS Gr 8 Young Travellers 🎄

There will be two sessions (morning 10 am & afternoon 2 pm), both held on Sunday, Nov 26, 2023 @ Beaver Brae Secondary School in the main gym. Cost of the workshop is: $90 per person which includes your wreath supplies & greens (including fir, cedar, white pine & Carolina sapphire, as well as pinecones, orange slices & a bow in the ribbon of your choice). We will have light refreshments & Christmas music for you to enjoy while you make your wreath.
** Note - please bring your own pruning shears (as well as an apron or gloves if desired) - they need to be sharp enough to cut through thicker, woody stems.

To book your spot, please email: [email protected] and please specify which session you would like to attend. Your spot is not confirmed until your etransfer is received.
My email for etransfer is: [email protected]

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. Bring a friend and come out to enjoy a lovely day of getting in the Christmas Spirit.

Christmas wreath making workshop information is coming out tonight …

This year, I’m partnering with BBSS Gr. 8 Young Travellers to help fundraise for their upcoming Toronto trip this spring.

Details will be released tonight. We are looking at the end of November with two sessions held at Beaver Brae with lots of room for everyone so for anyone who has asked me about courses this season, this is it.
Can’t wait 🎄

Of course it rained the whole time I was hand-picking these lovelies today and of course, it stopped and the sun came out as soon as I was done.

Whatever. I can’t wait to not only use some of these blooms in my last wedding of the season this weekend, but I also grabbed some for my mom to enjoy on her table.

Thank you ( and her crew) for all of your hard work to grow these beauties. If you haven’t gone out yet for a You-Pick day, go soon because the frost won’t hold off forever and you’re missing out.
