👋 Hello all! I'm Kayla, owner, maker & chandler at Reminiscent! There are lots of new faces here so I thought I'd introduce myself and share why I do what I do!

First and foremost I'm a wife to the second most talented candlemaker in the house 😜 and mama to my two adorable kiddos. I have a 🐕 and a 🐈 .... and a substantial candle collection!

🕯I started making candles for fun in 2020 during the starting months of the pandemic and really loved the creative aspect of developing scent combinations! I spent the past year or so perfecting the craft and learning everything there is to know about candlemaking (believe it or not there's a LOT)!

🙆‍♀️ Candles have always brought me so much pleasure. Whether its lighting one after I've finished cleaning the house, curling up with a candle and good book at night, or setting a collection of candles outside on on my patio when we have friends over for dinner!

🌈 I wanted the Reminiscent brand to be fun and colourful and make people smile. And what's more fun than catching up on old times... mixed tapes, flip phones, platform shoes. Our candles are joyfully nostalgic and hopefully have become a source of happiness and light in your home too! ✌️
