I can’t stop thinking about the amazing volunteers last week that made the Kootenay Piano Works Piano Anatomy Lab a special time for children and adults alike! A big shout out to Jonathan, Rand, George, Tim, Arne, Ian, Tao, Rowen and the one and only HAPPY HANS!!! A big thank you to Ian Quon, Dallevin Lapaire and Dr. Jani Parsons who absolutely blew away the audience at our evening concert!
In no particular order here are some of the moments that were captured! What a day!!!

A special thanks to Elizabeth Ross for donating her family piano to inspire the next generation towards music. All the major components of the piano are being upcycled and or made into something new!

It's also Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook Stillpoint Festival weekend in downtown Kimberley, with three days of art, film, and community September 17–19, including an expanded Kimberley Farmers' Market on Thursday evening, so there's a good reason to make a stop while you're in town.

🎹 12-6 PM: PIANO AND ORGAN ANATOMY

Ever wondered what’s inside a piano? Join Kendall for a one-of-a-kind hands-on experience!

With professional tools and guidance from experienced volunteers, kids will help safely dismantle a real piano and organ, discover how these incredible instruments work, and take home a unique piece as a souvenir or upcycljng project.

At 1 and 3 pm, enjoy family programming, sing along songs, and special guest performances by Ian Quon.
