New store hours!! We're open on Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday.

Sorry to the book nerds out there that want to grab new releases on Tuesdays. If this is you, we offer free local delivery, so just pre-order your book in-store and we'll deliver it on the release day.

Also we're open late on Thursdays while the Farmers' Market is on.

Sometimes it's hard to read a book when you have so many other things to get done in the day. We get it. We listen to audiobooks while we wash the dishes, do the laundry, go for a walk, on long car rides, etc...

We use to buy audiobooks for Audible but recently found out about and now we buy from them. For two main reasons...

1. They support small bookstores like ours. You set Papervale Books as you're local bookshop and Libro.fm shares some of the money you spend on audiobooks + monthly memberships with us. Audible does not do this.

2. Audiobooks from Libro.fm are free of digital rights managment (DRM) technology. Which means, that you can download your audiobook files in a mp3 or m4b format and play them on whatever device you want to. With Audible, you have to play the audiobook through their app or website, which basically locks you in.

If you like listening to audiobooks, give them a try. They have a buy one get one sale on select books until June 22.
