Our Story

For over 57 years, Enserink’s Vacuum Cleaner Centre has proudly served the Annapolis Valley with honest advice, quality products, and dependable service.

Our story began with founder Anton "Tony" Enserink, who immigrated from the Netherlands after the Second World War to build a new life in Canada. After settling in the Annapolis Valley, he became a door-to-door Electrolux salesman, earning a reputation for his warm smile, friendly personality, and unwavering commitment to his customers.

Tony was a familiar sight traveling the back roads of the Valley, delivering vacuum bags, supplies, and service from his old van. He believed that taking care of customers after the sale was just as important as making the sale itself.

Today, that same commitment continues through the second generation. While vacuum technology has changed over the years, our values have remained the same. We continue to offer quality vacuum cleaners, expert repairs performed in our own shop, and the personal service our customers have trusted for more than five decades.
