💜 WHAT IF YOUR THRIFTING COULD ACTUALLY HELP SOMEONE START OVER?

Retail Therapy KW Thrift isn’t just another thrift store.

We’re the thrift store that funds the work of the Domestic Violence Victims Alliance (DVVA) — a Waterloo Region charity helping survivors of domestic violence rebuild their lives after abuse.

And our model is pretty simple:

🛍️ You shop.
📦 You donate.
💜 Survivors get what they need to start over — for FREE.

When someone leaves an abusive relationship, they may be leaving behind almost everything they own. Starting over can mean needing an entire home: a bed to sleep in, dishes to eat from, clothing for their children, furniture, linens, small appliances and all the everyday things most of us take for granted.

We believe safety shouldn’t come with a price tag.

That’s why survivors referred to DVVA can shop with us completely free of charge for the furniture, clothing, household goods and essentials they need to rebuild.

And when YOU shop at our thrift store, your purchases help make that possible.

So yes — come because you love thrifting.
Come because you love finding incredible things at incredible prices.
Come because buying secondhand keeps great stuff out of landfills.

But know that every time you shop here, you’re also helping someone in your own community build a safe new life. 💜
