This is the most unique piece of mammoth 🦣 ivory I've ever worked with. Those aren't Schreger lines. End grain is where you'd expect. I have seen this effect before, but never to this extent. I think I won't interrupt the pattern with pearl eyes this time.

If you think gold is getting expensive these days, we'll, this is Mokume. 14k rose 🌹 gold, 14k white gold, and 18k yellow 💛 gold. I've chosen a very unique piece of mammoth 🦣 ivory for the frog, and a very fine piece of high lucchi pernambuco for the stick.
