What can one say about a woman that was so much more than just a friend. It started out as Mrs Dobbin, the Bus Driver 41 years ago, Mrs. Dobbin the Lady I see around and say Hi, Helen the co worker that I got to know and laugh with and trust, feel comfortable with and look forward to seeing her at work. Then there is Helen, your employee, your friend, your confidant, your go to person, someone you trusted, loved, depended on, a Cook, a Baker, a Teacher. Someone that had a Business sense and could plan and run any event without hesitation, loved a challenge, was meticulous and her presentation was her signature. She came saying I will do 3 days a week for you, we said, whatever you want to do Helen, well let us tell you she was there pretty much 7 days a week because she wanted to be there, she would say, " I love my job". It will always be Helen's Kitchen, Helen's Cold Plates, Helen's way of doing so many things, our staff loved her, she was Momma Helen to all. She helped us grow to where we are today by her determination, her long hours, her been inventive and not afraid to tackle anything or anyone if they got in the way lol. Yes, she had a feisty side, she never backed down and she took control but we grew to understand and respect her way and the reasons behind it. She could be in a big conversation then all of a sudden say, ok out of my Kitchen I got work to do, and you left, lol. She could boil Potatoes, bake a pan of Cookies, cut out her Tea Buns, make a Cheesecake and prep Turkeys all at the same time and yes she had names on every Turkey she cooked lol. This lady could multitask like no other. She went through very happy times with her Tobin Family and some very sad times but she was always there, to offer her love and support. She has watched our Children/Grandchildren grow up and they all loved Nannie Helen. We could go on and on but Helen, we were so Blessed to have you as part of the Tobin's Family and equally Blessed to be part of yours by all the stories you would tell us and how proud you were of your Girls and your Grandchildren. You my Friend were loved beyond measure, and missed more than we could ever express. Your presence will always remain not only at Tobin's but in our Hearts and our thoughts and our last wish for you is that you now rest in Peace and Fly high with the Angels and the Man you talked about with so much love, your Husband, Cyril who we know you are with, watching over all of us now. We will cherish all of your advice, our chats, our visits, our numerous text, where you had a way with words that always made us smile, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will love and miss you always and will carry on... "Helen's way" ❤️ Rest in Peace Momma Helen, we Love you.
