Fun facts about Bell's of Ireland....

🌸 Despite their name and association with the Emerald Isle, they are actually native to Turkey, Syria and the Caucasus.
🌸 They belong to the mint family and are related to salvia, cat mint, thyme and lavender.
🌸 Bell's of Ireland ( Molucella laevis) were originally introduced to Europe to be utilized in perfume.
🌸 They are a symbol of good luck, prosperity and abundance.
🌸 The white flower lay within the center of the green bell shaped calyx.
🌸 They can last 7-10 days in a vase.
