Hey Local Laser Man 204 family! 🖐️
Community and local talent means everything to me, which is why I’m stepping away from the laser cutter for a quick second to share some huge news about my daughter, Abby Ritchot! 🥇🏐
Abby and her team put in massive work on the volleyball court—and Abby and the team have qualified to head to Alberta after bringing home a Gold Medal at the Manitoba Indigenous Games! Because of that big win with a great group of young female athletes, she now has the opportunity to represent our community on a bigger stage at the Alberta Indigenous Games this August 11th–16th.
Here’s where we could use a little help from our amazing supporters. Due to recent shortfalls and a lack of expected support from government and regional sports funding, we’ve run into a few unexpected financial speedbumps covering her travel, accommodations, and event fees to make the trip to Alberta happen.
Having a close, tight-knit community behind our local youth makes all the difference in the world. When our community comes together to back these dedicated young athletes, it shows them that their hard work matters and that they've got a whole hometown rooting for them every step of the way.
We’re reaching out to our awesome local network—a crew that always knows how to lift each other up. Whether big or small, every single contribution makes a massive difference.
