And just like that… spooky season has entered the chat. 🎃🖤

I’ve been enjoying this suspiciously quiet little stretch of September, because apparently Past Jennifer looked at October and said, “You know what would be fun? Absolutely no free time.” 😂🫩

My fall market lineup is officially HERE... and it is a big one.

We’ve got old favourites, events I’ve been looking forward to returning to, spell jar workshops, Spooky Market shenanigans, Halloween weekend witchery, and even my first time at the Intuitive Arts Festival!

Basically, from here on out, you can find me somewhere between packing the car, unpacking the car, teaching people witchcraft, selling witchy things, organizing my own market, and hoping I remember my charging cables lol.

For now, I’m soaking up the calm, stocking the shelves, making all the things and preparing myself mentally, physically and spiritually for the absolute whirlwind of spooky bu****it that's about to begin. 🖤😂

THE DEAD HAVE RETURNED. ⚰️🖤

Krystina 🎃 Graveyard Wanders perfume oils are FINALLY restocked... and considering Laid to Rest sold out in less than THREE WEEKS last time, I would not recommend haunting around if you’ve been waiting for it. 👀

AND the ridiculously popular Graveyard Wanders totes are back too! I have one myself and can confirm: she's cute, she's spooky, she's roomy, and SHE ZIPS CLOSED. Which should not feel as exciting as it does, but here we are. 👀

Lilith’s history is complicated. She has existed as a frightening and demonic figure within folklore... but the later story many of us know tells of a woman who refused to submit to Adam. 😏

She said no to obedience.
No to making herself smaller.
No to someone else having authority over her body or sexuality.

And somehow, the woman who refused to comply became the monster. (Shocking) 🫩

Today, many modern witches have reclaimed Lilith as a symbol of autonomy, feminine power, boundaries, sexuality and independence - which is the energy behind my Lilith Witch Ball, right down to the snake representing transformation, wisdom and shedding what no longer serves us. 🐍

Demon? Feminist icon? Night spirit? Symbol of rebellion? It depends which story you’re reading. 😘

Well… apparently Reiki has been quietly waiting for me to catch up. 😂✨

I recently had the pleasure of completing my Reiki Level 1 training with Hayley Clarke of Hayley Clarke RST, Reiki Master, Intuitive & Spiritual Medium, alongside such a lovely group of women... and, of course, Hayley’s very dedicated assistant, Hughey (the Reiki cat). 🐈‍⬛

Receiving Reiki was beautiful (especially with Hughey deciding that on top of me was clearly the ideal place to supervise... sorry Angela 😂), but what surprised me most was the experience of actually giving Reiki. It was fascinating, grounding, emotional and healing in ways I wasn’t really expecting.

I was told beforehand that Reiki might open up my world a little, and it truly did.

One of the biggest realizations was recognizing that, in my own intuitive way, I’ve actually been practicing elements of self-Reiki for a long time without having the language or formal training to identify what I was doing. Learning the foundations gave context and structure to something that already felt strangely familiar.

Since completing Level 1, I’ve really been enjoying simply sitting with the training, practicing, and noticing. I’m in no rush to turn it into another service; I won’t be offering Reiki sessions to the public at this point. This one gets to be something I explore for myself for a while. 💜

What does excite me is discovering how Reiki can become another layer of intention within things I already create... from ritual products and custom workings to eventually bringing that energy into the shop space itself. 😌

And someday, when the timing feels right, I’d love to continue into Level 2.

For now, I’m just really grateful for the experience, for Hayley and everyone who shared the day with me… and for my exceptionally furry Reiki practitioner. 🐾✨
