No one is talking about this that wool prices has been jumping not just every month but litreally every single day & wool prices right now are at 15 years all time high.

How does it affect you?

When coat of raw materials, shipping, labor costs all increase at the same time this means that the beautiful wool rug that everyone loves is about to get really really expensive & companies don’t have the option but to pass on the prices on customers. Which is why this is the best time to shop your favourite rugs as the reason of showing you the data will hit the shelves in next three to four months & will peak just before October when people start shopping for Christmas.

With the pace of increasing prices we don’t expect the prices to come down anytime soon which means 6-12 months but what can happen is companies use cheaper or lower grades of wool so for a customer the best thing to do is to look for quality rug & purchase it now before brands hike the prices to match competition.

We have been working on this stunning custom 12ft x 12ft Wool Jute rug for the past three months for a mum who is super conscious of raw materials that come in her home. Of all the rugs this one if the safest rugs for health conscious families as there is absolutely not even a single trace of cotton or man made fibers. Just the goodness of natural fibers, undyed wool keeping it as organic as possible. It literally doesn’t any better than this & we have a 10ft x 10ft rug in stock as well. We are in an age where everyone who has no experience of manufacturing process become experts in a field of which they actually have no idea of raw materials. GOTS this OKEO TEX that, organic non organic etc etc who allows a company to decide what % is acceptable. It should either be yes or no & without having the acceptability of any grey area. This is why we are sharing a list of not only the fibers you should be actually looking for & also the harmful chemicals ranked against each of these raw materials that are not only in rugs but in other industries as well. Wanting organic cotton clothes or eating organic is a good step for a healthy lifestyle but the biggest piece of decoration in our home which is a rug is where everyone pays absolutely no attention to. Hopefully this guide will help everyone so share it with your friends & family so people wake-up & research for what they bring into their home.
