Kencara Sunrise one of our own rose creations growing in part sun very low care area! She was watered 2 times this summer. Soil is heavy clay in that bed. Often sits flooded with water in winter.

Welcome to my personal growing review of Rose ‘Miss Molly’ introduced in 2015 by Brad Jalbert from Select Roses and soon to be available in limited quantities through
Peter Beales Roses

This is a small compact and incredibly resilient little patio rose reaching just 60 cm in height and around 30 to 45 cm in diameter

It has astonishing weather resistance standing up exceedingly well to not only heat but also wind and rain the flowers last really well on the plant and in Home trials it cuts incredibly well lasting for around eight days once brought into the house

It has incredibly dark emerald almost Chocolate brown foliage with a high gloss lustrous Sheen which gives it impeccable disease resistance and the ability to withstand black spot mould mildew and rust

Perfect to be grown in a small container its neat and tidy in its growth habit making a perfect low step over hedge, and incredibly easy to maintain for the novice gardener

Flowers are produced freely not only individually but in sprays and clusters completely smothering the plant in June July August September and the beginning part of October held bolt upright towards the sky Armstrong sturdy and stout stems they are a very interesting tomato red tinged with small amounts of Orange highly ruffled and deeply textured each bloom measuring around 2 and a half to 2 and three-quarter inches in diameter

This can be grown in full sun or part shade, and does have quite a high thorn count so caution should be taken when planting it in high traffic areas, I pick up on very little fragrance whatsoever but this is more than made up in character charm exceptional disease resistance and it’s very unusual,bold and distinctive colour
