Being bored is good. It helps us think more clearly about our lives, or about those small things we may have been putting off, or even having a better idea of what to make for supper. Whatever the case may be, we NEED to be bored in order to give us opportunity to be creative. So give your self occasions to be bored, and give yourself the chance to MIX IT UP a bit. Say, instead of steak and potatoes, you mix it up with yummy lemon rice instead. Or instead of walking your dog on the sidewalk, you mix it up and take them down the alleys under the amazing canopies, because they ARE splendid to walk under, almost like being right in a forest.
Be bored. Get creative. Mix it up.

YOU are a PRO. You can cook the best meat on your grill, or maybe you bake the best desserts, or maybe you can organize your family as well as community groups. But, for certain, you are the "laundry master". Or maybe you aren't, but get stuck with the task anyways. What does this room look like? Heaps of linens and clothes, the functioning machines and maybe a cabinet or two to store the supplies? Whatever it looks like, our guess is that it may need some love, and since you are stuck with the task, you may want to make it a room you can ENJOY! We have flooring for that, heck we have paint for that too! Simple choice is an easy solution for a space like this and can handle all the dry and wet messes that can come with the laundry. But let's talk colour too. Why pick boring white or grey, when you can explore a new emotion for this tired space with a bright yellow, or earthy pink, or green, or turquoise, or orange or purple. HAVE SOME FUN, make this space worth being in. You never know, you may have others wanting to do their own laundry too.
