The Last Card Show at 6201 50th street dod NOT disappoint!

We had over 1000 people show up to support The Ben Stelter Foundation - with our shop 3/4 of the way ripped apart and not all of our inventory available with our relocation rapidly approaching, we were still able to raise a whopping $26,000.00 🙌🏼

A lot of people came out to wish us well with the relocation and say goodbye to the shop, but I know deep down everyone really made sure they showed up to support Ben. ❤️

If at any point in time you are in a position or would like to support the foundation/organize a fund raising event please donate or reach out at https://benstelterfoundation.com

Mike & Lea are doing incredible things from their personal experience and making a measurable impact on families that are navigating tough battles ahead.

It was beyond fitting that one of our four major charities happened to be in our shop on our last card show day - we look forward to bringing them back next year. At an even bigger platform with much more festivities planned.

From the bottom of all of our hearts and speaking on behalf of Mike and Lea, THANK YOU to the entire Leduc community and Card community that helped achieve this donation.

Year #2 collaborating with KidSport Leduc and County!

Read up on this true nonprofit organization, and the impact that they are having in our communities.

They are a charity deserving of everyones support ❤️🙌🏼

A HUGE KIDSPORT PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are incredibly excited to celebrate The Hobby Spot as our newest KidSport Leduc & County Community Partner—and this partnership is truly extra special.

The Hobby Spot has chosen to donate the proceeds from its golf tournament to KidSport Leduc & County, making this the largest single donation we have ever received!

Because of their incredible generosity and ongoing commitment to our community, The Hobby Spot is officially our first-ever KidSport Hall of Fame Partner! Donations of $10,000 or more are recognized as Hall of Fame donations, making this extraordinary contribution even more meaningful.

We are deeply grateful for their support and for helping us remove financial barriers so more local kids can access organized sport and stay active. This generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families throughout our communities.

Thank you, The Hobby Spot, for continuing to show up for local kids!

And while we’re celebrating this incredible partnership, there’s even more exciting news...

THE HOBBY SPOT GRAND OPENING IS THIS WEEKEND!

We encourage everyone in our community to visit their new location and help them celebrate this exciting new chapter. Stop by, say congratulations, and show your support for one of our incredible community partners.

Congratulations, The Hobby Spot & QCB We are so proud to call you our partner.

🙌🏼STORY IS LONG OVERDUE TO SHARE🙌🏼

I was contacted by an absolute rockstar of a human that resides in Ohio, he asked me if I knew of any mutual relations to Ryker Evans ………. Lo and behold one of my good friends Randy happened to be in the shop a few months earlier and told me to start stockpiling Ryker’s cards because he was friends with the family and was going to collect and share his cards.

I throw the three of us in a group chat, and this is the end result. Shawn and his boys Sam & Benny gifted Ryker his CUP ROOKIE SHIELD! Sounds like the boys are going to get a chance to meet him at a game in Columbus later this year as well.

Stories like this are the ones that fuel The Hobby and create memories that Sam & Benny will never forget as long as they live. Their father Shawn has shown levels of generosity and kindness in many of the charity drives we take on. People like him are the difference makers in this world.

Most of the people that frequent the shop in Leduc know the Catch phrase “ More Than A Hobby” ➡️ this is another prime example of just that, for most of us this crazy world of cards means far more to us then just collecting/monetizing.

Amazing story and none of the credit should come to the shop here, we just happen to be the ones that got the privilege to tell the story. 🙌🏼❤️

💥LAST PREVIEW BEFORE GRAND OPENING / FULLY SETUP IN THE LOCATION💥

🎉OCTOBER 3rd, 2026 - WE OPEN THE NEW HEADQUARTERS🎉

Bigger shop, same great customer experience.

Had to get Justice Stein his legend on the windows outside…..

Cant wait to properly thank/give credit to everyone that is due for this!

Putting this together in less than five months is nothing short of a miracle…… and for miracles to happen there needs to be some divine intervention. There was certainly that with all the different friendships from the past helping out and the new relationships made in the construction of this building.

OCTOBER 3RD 2026 - GREAT THINGS ARE COMING TO LEDUC 🙌🏼

‼️HAD to get this one posted before the new shop opens and give credit where credit is definitely due!‼️

This creative wall piece was designed and completed by Leduc’s very own Savanna Chartier !

She has been a customer and friend of the shop for several years now, we wanted to come up with something very creative with all those empty tins, these are the types of decor that makes card shops unique.

For anyone that has OCD like me….. she purposely did not centre the word “the” over The Hobby Spot ➡️ because there is exactly 20 Cup Tins worth of space available to display 1 Tin from every year of cup since it has been released!

She did an amazing job and she is just starting her art portfolio on the account that she was tagged to here, and she is currently in school to develop her skills even further.

I have to say it turned out even better than what I had anticipated and had hoped for. Simply amazing and a JOB WELL DONE HERE!

Give her art page a follow, she is a collector at heart also.

639 Empty Tins in this picture…… add one from each year of cup still getting put up and your retail total in todays market is roughly $1,600,000.00🇨🇦

Can’t wait to show everybody all the different artwork we have inside the new shop, but this one is definitely one of my favourites!
