Le Barons Car Club The Le Barons Car Club is a group of friends in Lethbridge who meet together for the common purpose of enjoying custom, classic and hot-rodded vehicles.

The Le Barons Car Club is a group of friends who meet together for the common purpose of enjoying custom, classic and hot-rodded vehicles. Formed after returning from a drag race in 1961, the Club has stayed true to the social aspect of the car hobby. The Le Barons Car Club’s activities are informative and enjoyable through meetings, social outings, show n' shines and member projects. Members own

restored vehicles from the teens, rods from the 20s to the 60s, muscle cars, race vehicles, pickup trucks, and the list grows. Some members are building their first project while others are seasoned veterans of the car building world.

Join us for the 18th Annual Dixon Memorial Classic Car Show on Saturday, September 12, 2026, and swing by our BBQ! Interfaith Food Bank is firing up the grill for this Logic Lumber event, with burgers, chips, pop, and frozen treats available all day. Every purchase helps support the Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge, so you can fuel up on great food while giving back to the community.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Glen Richardson of Calgary, who passed away on July 19, 2026.
Glen was one of the six original founding members of the LeBarons Car Club Lethbridge, formed in 1961 in Lyn Barnaby’s garage. His passion for cars and the friendships forged through the club helped create a legacy that has continued for generations.
Glen’s beautiful 1928 Ford roadster holds a special place in LeBarons history. It was chosen as the inspiration for the club’s emblem and name, and to this day remains a proud and enduring symbol of the LeBarons Car Club.
We remember Glen not only as a founding member, but as an important part of the club’s history and the beginning of a tradition that continues to bring car enthusiasts together. His contribution and his 1928 roadster will forever be part of the LeBarons story.
Our deepest condolences go out to Glen’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory live on through the friendships, the cars, and the legacy he helped create.

Hey all you Old School Arm Drop Racers!
LeBarons will be holding our pre-race tech inspection day for the upcoming LeBarons Drag Races. Race Day is June 20th at the Lethbridge Airport.
The pre-race tech inspections will be done June 13th at CEP from 9-Noon.
If you are planning on racing on the 20th, we encourage you to bring your race car to CEP, so our tech team can inspect and qualify your car in advance of race day!
Race day tech inspections will be done at the Airport from 7-9 am .

Mark your calendars and fine-tune your rides for another exhilarating drag race, as we commemorate our 65th Anniversary year!
