Follow our new page please ∆

🌿 Hello everyone! My name is Tim Robinson, and if you’ve visited The Green Grotto before, there’s a good chance we’ve already met.

My journey here began over seven years ago, starting as a part-time employee. Since then, I’ve worked my way up—from team member to manager—and today, I’m incredibly proud to introduce myself as the new owner of The Green Grotto.

My passion for plants was sparked the moment I stepped into this store, and it has only grown since. One of the things I love most is sharing that passion with others—helping people discover the joy of plants and how to care for them.

I grew up in Magrath, where I learned to garden from a young age. Each season taught me something new, and I carry that same spirit of growth and learning into everything I do here.

My vision for The Green Grotto is to create a welcoming, community-centered space—somewhere people can connect, learn, and enjoy the beauty of plants together.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to grow with you all! 🌱

We had an absolutely amazing time at Theoretically Brewing Company this past Saturday for what we hope will be the first annual Plant Swap. It was a massive hit and we were blown away by how many wonderful people came out with plants and pots, swapped and traded and purchased plants, and of course to everyone who cuddled cuties Viva and Bauer who were there to provide those cuddles.

We extended the prize draw for this amazing package until this Sunday at 6pm. Anyone who knows, knows this draw package is not only gorgeous in everyway, but knows what a huge deal it is! The Rubber Tree is to die for. The Gift Cards to Urbane Eight, Custom Indoor Grow **Who by the way has changed their name to The Green Grotto!, how exciting!, and the sill and soil and the accessories all complete this amazing prize.

Exciting Changes Are on the Way!

We’re making some big moves here at the store, and our new store hours are just the beginning. Starting June 3rd, we’ll be open from 12 PM to 8 PM, giving you more time to stop by and enjoy an evening stroll through our urban jungle.

This shift in hours is part of a larger transformation—we’re working behind the scenes on something special to breathe new life into the store. June is the perfect time for a late-night plant hunt, and we’d love to see you during these extended hours.
