Highlighting another summer favourite - False Sunflower! 🌻

These are sun-loving plants that have a nice long bloom period! It has the ability to handle whatever nature throws at it, and had great disease and pest resistance. The darker foliage of certain varieties can add interest to a garden bed even when not in bloom!
They also make great cut or dried flowers. If using them for dried flowers, cut them when they are 3/4 way open, and hang upside down to dry.

Showcasing a favourite summer perennial this week: ☀️Catmint! ☀️
This is one of the longest blooming perennials, giving an amazing show for weeks in the summer. Spikes of blue or white flowers smother the plant, almost hiding the leaves entirely. Deadheading it regularly will extend the blooming season. The foliage, either silvery-grey, or a beautiful lime, add interest in the spring and fall!
