🪲 Japanese beetles are back, and if you've noticed leaves that look like lace, they're likely the culprit.

Adult beetles feed on the leaves, flowers, and buds of many plants before laying eggs in the soil. Those eggs hatch into grubs, which overwinter underground and emerge as beetles next summer, continuing the cycle.

Safer's Japanese Beetle Traps work without insecticides. The lure contains a combination of floral scent and a beetle attractant that draws adult Japanese beetles into the trap, where they're captured. 🌿🪲

Another option is beneficial nematodes, which target the grub stage in the soil before they become next year's beetles. We are taking names for our next nematode order, so let us know if you'd like to be added to the list!
