🎨 Feature Artist Friday — Lin Souliere & Carl Bell
This week we're featuring not one but two artists — the wife-and-husband duo behind our newest exhibit, The Land in Two Voices!
Lin Souliere works mainly in watercolour, drawing on the shapes, patterns, and light of the landscape — the rock of the Canadian Shield, Great Lakes shorelines, and old growth forests — layering colour to let shape and light lead the way into abstract form. A founding member of the Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists, she paints from her studio at Dragonfly Ridge.
Carl Bell works across printmaking, photography, sculpture, stained glass, and acrylics, with work exhibited in Ontario, British Columbia, and New Mexico. He shares the Dragonfly Ridge studio, where his interest in the environment, solar energy, and green building runs so deep that he built every structure on the property himself — one huge installation art piece!
Their exhibit brings together two distinct yet complementary visions of the land, and it's on display now.
