Happy Saturday folks!

All of a sudden our call volume has gone a little crazy and we have been busy with medical appointments. We are working today to try and triage fridges first. We will be working on web requests first, so if you called we will get to you ASAP!

PSA: After today's heat it is a good idea to check your freezers and ensure everything is still frozen. If you have a thermometer available you're looking for -18C or 0F. The temp displaying on the door may be setpoint not current internal temp.

Good morning!

With the first hot day of the spring it is primetime for (specifically pre-2022) LG refrigerators (compressor) to fail.

It is a known issue; LG supplies parts for the service (typical value 500-900 dollars) All the customer is responsible for is travel and labor.

Avoid spending time on call with LG call centers as we can initiate these warranty calls on our end.

If you have a lg refrigerator or any refrigerator of this vintage it is a good idea to pull the unit out, expose the condenser coils at the back of the fridge and either vacuum or blow them out to maintain refrigerator performance.
