✨️Custom Set✨️

I made this set of floral earrings and pin for a lovely woman whose husband had reached out to get a custom set for his wife! I used size 13 beads, so this one took a while to complete. I find I spend a lot of time choosing the right beads for custom sets, making sure the end result is perfect. I was so happy to deliver it in person a couple weeks ago!

While I don't replicate colours exactly the same for custom sets, I will replicate designs! Send me an email if you are looking for a custom set of earrings, pin, keychain or necklace 😍. I can give you a quote and a time frame. I not only make flatstitch custom jewelry, I also love to make brickstich earrings too!

Support your favourite Indigenous artists today! I haven't celebrated Canada day in years because as an Indigenous person, there is so much more work to be done.

If you can, please consider supporting your favourite Indigenous artists. There are so many talented Indigenous artists where I live in London, Ontario and many of my online friends and community too who are trying to make a living doing what we love and often much more that you don't see behind the scenes.

Thank you so much to .n.grow .heyitskay .artmarket for the amazing opportunity to sell my beadwork in person at Weirdo Market on Sunday, June 21st. I made some sales and had a wonderful time connecting with my table mate Carole. I sold my beadwork to some new customers and familiar faces.

I wanted to announce that I am attending my first market as Seeds of the Moon as a Vendor at the Weirdo Market! I was graciously invited to this event by .n.grow who has curated a selection of incredible local Indigenous artists to attend the market. This event is more than just a market - it’s a space to connect, collaborate, and celebrate your weird.

The day afterwards, I will be launching my website on Big Cartel. It's been a long time coming and Etsy has served me well since I started selling my beadwork in 2021. But, I'm ready to start this new chapter of making my beadwork available exclusively on my website.

✨️Update✨️

It's been so long since I've posted! I have been so busy over the past year. I graduated university in June 2025 and have been working hard ever since. Less time for beadwork, but more time to do cute customs for friends!

I made this cute custom keychain for one of my best friend's birthdays! The amethyst of course was not made by me, but the little beaded 'M' and the flower were part of my contribution.

Hoping to have more time for beadwork and for posting again, I have sorely missed it 🥲

✨️Updates and Grattitude✨️

Yesterday, I attended the Rock, Paper, Scissors event at the Art Gallery of Guelph with the . I am currently in university and a contributing editor for the Embassy Cultural House as part of my internship credit for this year. Founders Ron Benner and Jamelie Hassan have been integral in my learning to be an art curator and developing my skills in ways that will help my future practice.

However, I still want to continue doing beadwork, and as artists themselves, they have both been supportive and encouraging in my endeavors to promote my beadwork. Ron and Jamelie generously offered me a spot at the Embassy Cultural House table to sell my work, and I sold 4 out of 6 pairs I brought to the event! I am so grateful to have opportunities to sell in person and hope to do my own booths someday.

The Embassy Cultural House is a not-for-profit collective that has been supportive of Indigenous artists and scholars locally and internationally. Not only collaborating with Indigenous artists and curators, but also including Indigenous artwork within the ECH archives, throughout their publications, and in their exhibitions.

Not For Sale✨️

I made a custom pair of earrings for one of my cousins a few weeks ago and mailed this set last week! These monochrome black earrings were a fun project for me; I got to choose any beads I wanted as long as they were black. I decided that texture would play a big part here, considering the beads would all be the same colour, and they turned out beautifully!

I feel like black is under-utilized in my work, but this year, I've worked with black beads a handful of times, and I seriously need to do more 😍.
